In this day and age we don’t have the time or inclination to make our own clothes or accessories, but apart from being useful and gaining a sense of achievement needle crafts can be very relaxing and the perfect answer to the hustle and bustle of modern life. Even if you are not very creative you can still get craft kits that are ready for you to put together.

I have some great memories of making a pair of beaded brown moccasins from a kit many years ago and now that they are so fashionable I thought that I would scout around the Internet to see if you can still get moccasin kits. For the UK there isn’t much choice, but I’ve linked to what I have found and will keep on looking. The US has much more choice, but with the red Indian influence it’s hardly surprising.
